No Win No Fee

A no win no fee (or conditional fee as it is known in England and Wales) means that there is no charge for any legal services, unless there is a favourable result. In other words, if your solicitor doesn’t win, then he or she doesn’t get paid!

This type of “no win no fee” payment structure became popular due to the increasing cost of litigation, meaning that the average person with little or no funds, would not be able to bring a case against (sometimes) a larger entity. No win no fee compensation claims were introduced to the UK in 1995.

They were designed to replace the legal aid system for providing funding to help people get access the court process.

The advantage of this type of system is that your solicitor is seriously motivated to succeed; otherwise they would have done a lot of work for nothing!

However, there are a number of claims companies in the UK who act as “middle men” and pass business to solicitors for a fee. This of course, should be avoided if possible, and select a solicitor, or firm of solicitors that can deal with you claim directly on a no win no fee basis.

At Accident Compensation UK – a trading style of Martyn Prowel Solicitors, there is a track record of successful claims litigation – to find out more how we can help you, please fill in the very short form below and we will get back to you.
